About
Hey y'all, thanks for dropping by. My name is Eric Ellenberg. That's me on the right, and on the left is my lovely wife, Christina, holding our border collie, Pickles, when she was a puppy. We're proud parents of three wonderful children.
Work
- I'm a Solutions Architect on the Product Management Alliances team at Veeam where I work on technical integrations for security and SaaS solutions. I started at Veeam in 2020 as a systems engineer supporting our public cloud products for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Before Veeam, I was an engineering manager and product manager at a managed services provider. I worked there about six years on a great team and learned a ton.
- Here's my LinkedIn profile if you'd like to connect.
- I also write at couplebits.com about technology and work-related topics.
Social
- I'm on Threads at @ericellenberg.
- Yes, I'm also on The Site Formerly Known as Twitter, but I'm no longer posting there. Handle is @erice for those interested.
- I have profiles on various Mastodon instances and Bluesky, but it's impractical to be active on all of them, so Threads it is.
And a little more about me
- I've been a Nintendo fan my whole life. Far and away my favorite company. I love their mission statement: "Nintendo's mission is to put smiles on the faces of everyone we touch. We do so by creating new surprises for people across the world to enjoy together."
- I also love the outdoors, if you couldn't tell by the picture. I spend most of my days at a keyboard, so I relish time spent in nature.
- "What a computer is, to me, is: it's the most remarkable tool that we've ever come up with. It's the equivalent of a bicycle for our minds." - Steve Jobs
