"A presold summer blockbuster that takes a $200-million budget and uses it to make the cinematic equivalent of a truck-stop toilet that hasn’t been cleaned in a matter of weeks, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” is putrid, offensive and life-sucking."

TheMovieBoy Review: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) : I like this guy for telling it like it is. You just know it’s going to be bad. Not the good bad. The “putrid, offensive and life-sucking” bad. Ebert had similar remarks: “‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ is a horrible experience of unbearable length, briefly punctuated by three or four amusing moments.” It’s like Michael Bay doesn’t give the tiniest inkling of a care that he knows he’s making a garbage movie with big explosions and lots of special effects.
